The Proto project book review

Updated: Jun 3, 2023

My review of "The Proto Project", by Bryan R. Johnson. Jason finds out the hard way just how cool his mom is and how dangerous her work is when her billion dollar project literally sprouts legs and hides in his pocket. Mom gets kidnapped and he and his friend must go on a high speed, high tech adventure to save her...and maybe the world. Great fun read. Quick paced and likely to hold the most jaded kid's attention. Loved it.

Author's Bio:

Bryan Johnson probably has one of the most interesting backgrounds for an author. He’s a very well-known entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and CEO with a BA in international studies as well as an MBA.

He is the founder of Braintree, a company that specializes in payment systems for ecommerce companies. He is also the founder of Kernel, a company that can record and monitor brain activity, As well as OS Fund, A venture capital firm that invests in newer tech and science companies. Clearly he has a lot of brain activity himself.

With this resume, it’s little wonder that his novel, “The Proto Project”, takes place in the tech world.

His latest venture is Project Blueprint, which aims to reverse the biological age of his own organs.

He has published two children’s books: The Proto Project: A Sci-Fi Adventure of the Mind, and Code 7: Cracking the Code for an Epic Life.

Code 7 has received Mom’s Choice, Royal Dragonfly Book, and Wishing Shelf Awards.

The Proto Project has received the Purple Dragonfly and Mom’s Choice Awards.
